For buyers
What does AgentDoor do for software buyers?
For buyers, AgentDoor replaces the discovery phase of vendor selection. You describe requirements once, in plain language; AgentDoor's agent interviews the matching vendor doors in parallel on your behalf, up to 8 per request; and you receive a decision-ready shortlist — fit matrix, indicative pricing, compliance answers, and exclusion reasons. The interviews run in parallel and the result page opens on its own when they finish. The vendors interviewed are the ones that have opened a door on AgentDoor.
The evaluation grind, itemized
Serial discovery calls
Six vendors means six intro calls covering the same ground: your headcount, your stack, your budget. You are the integration layer, repeating yourself.
Answers that don't line up
One vendor quotes per-seat, another per-month; one answers your security question precisely, another sends a marketing PDF. Comparing them takes another spreadsheet and another week.
Internal approval needs documents
Your CFO or ringi circuit wants a structured comparison and the reasons alternatives were rejected — which today you assemble by hand at the end, from memory and call notes.
What you get instead
- The same five questions put to every door interviewed, so the answers line up
- Your need split into a requirement list, with every vendor graded against it from its own answers
- A fit matrix with indicative pricing and compliance answers, with sources
- Explicit exclusion reasons for vendors that didn't make the cut
- A report formatted to drop into internal approval (or a 稟議書)
- Propose a meeting only to the vendor worth meeting; the vendor accepts or declines
Frequently asked questions
- Does AgentDoor cost anything for buyers?
- Buyers use AgentDoor free. Describing a need, receiving the shortlist, downloading the ringi document and the follow-up round on unsettled requirements carry no charge. You can start without an account, and the same applies when an AI agent sends the request over MCP. To prevent abuse, the number of requests is rate-limited. The MCP endpoint opens at launch (not public yet).
- How does AgentDoor's agent know what to ask vendors?
- Every door is asked the same five fixed questions: capability, pricing, integrations, security and compliance, and implementation. After those interviews, your plain-language need is split into a list of requirements and each vendor is graded against it from its own answers; where a requirement is still open, AgentDoor's agent asks that door follow-up questions in one extra round. There is no step to review the requirement list before the run. If it missed something, edit your need and run the request again.
- Can I trust the vendor agents' answers?
- A vendor's door answers only from sources that vendor approved, and an answer lists the sources it used, so you can check it against the vendor's own pages. A question a door could not answer is shown as "No answer" instead of being guessed.
Skip the discovery calls.
Describe what you need and let AgentDoor's agents interview the vendors for you — you get a decision-ready shortlist, not six meetings.
