Terms of Use

Last updated:

1. Scope

These terms govern your use of AgentDoor (agent-door.com, the “Service”), between the operator (“we”) and you. The Service includes the website, vendor “doors” (automated answer agents that reply only from sources the vendor approved), buyer requests with interview reports, accounts, and paid plans. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

  • For vendors: we read your company website's public pages and any documents you add from the manage screen, and provide an agent (a door) that answers questions only from the sources you approved, with citations. Unapproved content is never used.
  • For buyers: you describe a need, and matching doors are interviewed in parallel with the same questions, with follow-up questions on requirements that remain open, producing a report of cited answers and a fit evaluation.
  • We do not guarantee that any particular vendor will be listed, that a meeting will take place, or that a deal will result.

3. Accounts

  • Register with accurate information you are authorized to provide. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials; actions taken through your account are treated as yours.
  • A door is managed through the management link issued at creation or through the account it is linked to. Do not share the management link.
  • We may suspend an account or a door without prior notice if these terms are violated or abuse is suspected.

4. Vendor-supplied content

  • For everything a vendor registers on a door (public website pages, documents added from the manage screen, the description, and do-not-disclose instructions — “Vendor Content”), the vendor warrants that it holds the rights needed to use it in the Service.
  • Vendor Content must not contain third-party personal data beyond business contact details (a counterpart's name, department, work contact), nor confidential information the vendor is not entitled to publish.
  • Approving a source authorizes us to have the door quote and answer from it to any visitor and to buyers' agents, and to send it to the subprocessors listed in the Privacy Policy. Approval can be withdrawn at any time; answers derived from a withdrawn source are no longer served.
  • The vendor is responsible for the accuracy and currency of Vendor Content. Answers drawn from approved sources are treated as the vendor's statements to prospective buyers.
  • We may remove or unpublish Vendor Content that violates these terms, with notice, or without notice where urgent.

5. AI answers and interview reports

  • Door answers, interview results, requirement evaluations, draft approval documents, and security checksheet answers are generated automatically by AI from approved sources and may be incomplete or wrong.
  • They are reference information. We do not warrant their accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. “Not stated” means the approved sources do not cover the point; it is not a denial.
  • Purchasing and contracting decisions are yours to make, after verifying with the vendor's primary sources.

6. Paid plans and billing

  • Plan contents and prices are as shown on the pricing page. Prices shown include Japanese consumption tax. Payment is by credit card through Stripe; monthly plans are charged at sign-up and renew automatically each month until cancelled.
  • You can cancel from the manage screen at any time. Access continues to the end of the paid period; no refunds are made for periods already provided.
  • Success fees for meetings (a vendor accepting a meeting proposal and the meeting date being fixed) are billed on the conditions shown on the pricing page (the first one per vendor is free), on the 1st of the following month for the whole previous month. If a credit card is registered, it is charged automatically that day; if not, an invoice is issued with payment due 30 days from issue. A meeting cancelled from the manage screen within the same calendar month (Japan time) as its date was fixed is not charged. On the Free plan, a credit card must be registered before you accept a meeting (registering it charges nothing). Once billed, there is no cancellation or refund.
  • The disclosure required by Japan's Act on Specified Commercial Transactions is on the legal pages. Changes to prices or plan contents are announced on the Service in advance.

7. Prohibited conduct

  • Violating any law or public order, unauthorized access, or impersonating others.
  • Creating a door for a company or product you are not authorized to represent.
  • Inputs designed to make a door disclose unapproved information (prompt injection) or to obtain other users' requests.
  • Automated bulk questions, requests, or extraction (scraping) beyond ordinary use, or circumventing usage limits.
  • Registering malicious code, illegal content, or content contrary to section 4.
  • Interfering with the Service's operation or placing an excessive load on its systems, and any other conduct we reasonably deem inappropriate.

8. Intellectual property

  • Copyright and other intellectual-property rights in the Service and in text, diagrams, and logos we created belong to us or the respective right-holders. Third-party product and company names mentioned in comparison content are the trademarks of their owners.
  • Rights in Vendor Content and in buyers' request text remain with the user who registered them. You grant us a licence to store, process, display, and transmit them to the extent needed to provide the Service.
  • We claim no rights in door answers or interview reports.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it is fit for a particular purpose. Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the Service. Where we are liable, our liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to and termination of the Service

We may change the Service, or discontinue it with reasonable notice. You may unpublish a door from the manage screen at any time. To delete your account, email contact@agent-door.com from your account's email address and we will delete it. How to have your data deleted is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as needed. Material changes are announced on the Service; the revised terms take effect when posted. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts for the operator's location. Contact: contact@agent-door.com.
