DocuSign is the global category leader and the only tool here that charges per user with an included envelope allowance rather than a flat fee plus per-send cost. On the Japan storefront, Standard is ¥3,300/user/month with 100 envelopes per user annually, and Business Pro ¥5,300 adds payments, bulk send and advanced fields. Standard and Business Pro cap at 50 users.
Best for: Companies that need one e-signature standard across multiple countries, or whose counterparties already expect DocuSign.

Strengths and trade-offs
Strengths
- No per-send fee — envelopes are included in the seat price, which makes cost predictable for steady contract volume
- The de facto international standard, so overseas counterparties rarely need convincing and one process can span multiple countries
- Business Pro adds payment collection and bulk send, covering workflows the domestic entry plans do not
Trade-offs
- Per-user pricing with a 50-user cap on Standard and Business Pro — a company-wide rollout pushes you to a quoted Enhanced plan
- Envelope allowances are capped (100 per user per year), so occasional heavy months can hit a limit the domestic unlimited-send plans never do
- SSO requires a quoted Enhanced plan rather than being available on a published tier
